Winchester Rotary and Mission of Deeds Announce New Partnership
We are excited to announce that starting immediately Winchester Rotary will staff the Mission of Deeds on the third Saturday of every month from 9 to noon! This important reoccurring Service Project will provide hands-on service to the Mission of Deeds' clients and allow the Mission of Deeds to be open an additional Saturday a month. Rotarians will work side by side with MOD staff answering calls, restocking shelves, accepting donations, assisting clients with furniture selections and packing trucks.
The Mission of Deeds was founded by deceased Winchester Rotarian Tony Triglion. The MOD serves men, women, and children of all ages, including: veterans, disadvantaged families, the previously homeless, survivors of domestic abuse, refugees, the elderly, survivors of fire and other disasters, and those with disabilities. The sole mission is to provide basic home necessities, without charge, to those in need.
