Winchester Massachusetts Rotary Club

Welcome to Winchester Rotary.  We invite you to view our numerous sites to become familiar with the many services, projects, and activities we are so proud of.

As you may already know, Rotary is an international organization of business and professional persons, united worldwide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Our motto, “Service Above Self,” is the commitment we apply to every project and activity we become involved in. 

Rotary was founded in 1905 by Paul P. Harris, an attorney who wished to capture in a professional club the same friendly spirit he had felt in the small towns of his youth—the Rotary name derived from the early practice of rotating meetings among members’ offices. Today, 1.2 million Rotarians belong to over 32,000 Rotary Clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas.

The Winchester Rotary Club was chartered on April 5, 1927, and has been an active and dedicated service organization in the community since then. Please go to the Club History to get a more detailed account of the many ongoing and annual projects we are involved in.
