The Winchester Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Sherman W. " Whip"  Saltmarsh is the recipient of the second annual Honorable Paul Harris Fellow Award. 
 
The award is bestowed upon a member of the Winchester community, who is currently not a Rotarian and who meets the high professional and personal standards
set forth by Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary.
 
The Paul Harris Fellowship Award is one of the highest honors Rotary can give to an individual.  In addition to the recipients recognition exemplifying the highest ideals that Rotary
places in " SERVICE ABOVE SELF " ; this award also includes a donation of $ 1000, in the recipient's name to the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International which supports Rotary world - wide programs.
 
The Selection criteria are specifically centered around:
- Involvement with humanitarian service activities, and programs,
- Active participation to help others and
- Demonstrated personal volunteer efforts.
 
The Award will be presented at the regularly scheduled luncheon on Thursday, December 12th at Hadley Hall, Parish of the Epiphany, 70 Church St., Winchester, MA.
